Case Study

Toyoda makes machine tooling systems for wide range of industries including automotive and aerospace. We started with a look at the information architecture. Once we had the IA fleshed out we moved on to UX and visual design, mocking up a number of design concepts and navigation prototypes. We also started to work on Craft CMS development, building out custom field types as well as front end templates utilizing Twig. We added interactive machine specs into flip cards to save space. Joining forces with a co-worker of mine, we built out a fully featured machine selection tool, ROI and tax savings calculator using Vue.js and vanilla javascript. After we launched the site, conversions and quote requests were improved. The site ended up looking great and the user experience work helped to establish a finely tuned pathway to relevant information.
